Pick up form your Nairobi hotel in the morning and drive to Maasai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game-viewing. Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Sopa Lodge.

The Maasai Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to comprehend – indeed, over 450 species of animals have been recorded here! It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Day 3: Masai Mara Game Reserve – to Lake Elementaita (280 km – Approx 5-6 hrs)

A game drive within the Soysambu Wildlife Conservancy is utterly pristine and hauntingly beautiful, Soysambu is one of only a handful of private conservancies in Kenya. The Conservancy not only features rolling plains and a substantial part of one of Kenya’s most beautiful soda lakes – with it’s attendant cast of pelicans, commorants, waders and storks but also shelters large herds of buffalo. Within the acacia thickets graze the rare Rothschild’s giraffe, and across the plains bound an ever-shifting kaleidoscope of plain’s game.
