Proceed on the weathered road to Mount Kenya heritage centre, on arrival you will be welcomed by songs and dances at the kikuyu traditional homestead. Learn life of the indigenous kikuyu community as you take a guided tour of the homestead.

Take a sample of traditional African food as you get the brief history of Kikuyu community before and after the independence in Kenya .After lunch descend to river Mathioya as you interact with the locals. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and if possible get thrill of crossing the Mathioya river on a foot bridge and probably see some of beautiful birds along the river.
Option 2: Day 1

Take a sample of traditional African food as you get the brief history of Kikuyu community before and after the independence in Kenya. After lunch depart from center for an educational tour to a coffee farm where you will have an opportunity to learn how the coffee is harvested by observing or participating modestly. Later proceed to the community coffee factory to learn more about the coffee process.
Note: this specific activity of coffee harvesting depends on the seasons, though a visit to the coffee farms and factory can be arranged all the year around. Dinner and overnight drive back to Nairobi

Early breakfast, then visit the adjacent Hells gate national park with a packed lunches this park can be explored on foot or by cycling- bicycles are available for hire at an extra cost. Hell’s Gate is located just beyond Lake Naivasha. Famous for its natural hot geysers, eagle and vulture breeding grounds, visitors have the choice of driving, walking, camping, and cycling and rock climbing within the park. Special location to view include Fischer’s Tower, formerly a volcano’s plug, the Central Tower and Njorowa Gorges. Two extinct volcanos: Olkaira and Hobley’s are worth a trip. Natural steam vents rise from fissures in the volcanic rock. Obsidian, a striking black glassy rock formed from cooled molten lava is a feature of this landscape. Resident game to view includes: hyrax, buffalo, Masai Giraffe, eland, Coke’s Hartebeest and sometimes cheetah. A haven for ornithologists and rock climbers, the cliffs of Hell’s Gate are breeding grounds for vultures, Verreaux’s Eagles, Augur Buzzard and thousands of swifts; and about 103 species of bird have been recorded.

Option 2: Day 4
After breakfast depart from your camp to the famous Maasai Mara. Drive southward crossing the Great Rift Valley towards Narok, a small Maasai town well known for the most beautiful curios ever. Proceed to Maasai Mara for lunch at the Camp. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive viewing many animals that inhabit this unique park.
Dinner and overnight at the Camp / Lodge.
Option 2: Day 5
Full day spent exploring Maasai Mara in search of the “Big Five”. Morning and afternoon game drives are offered. Optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 450 per person. Dinner and overnight stay at the Camp / Lodge. The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see Lions, Rhinos, Hippos, Crocodiles, Giraffe, Wildebeests, Zebras, Buffalo, Warthogs, Hyenas, Jackals, Wild Dogs, Buffalo, Leopard, many kinds of Antelopes and Elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of Wildebeest and Zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the Savanna Lion, Cheetah, Wild Dog, Jackal, Hyena and Vultures.
Optional: Balloon safari, a visit to Maasai Village and a nature walk in the park guided by Masai men can be arranged on this day.
Option 2: Day 6: Masai Mara
Breakfast and then depart for another full game drive which will provide you another opportunity to view the “Big Five” Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard. We will continue with game drive for a tour to the famous Mara River where the biggest migration of animals in the world takes place. Lunch at the picnic sites near the river as we enjoy the beautiful park. After lunch continue with the game drive in the park until late afternoon.

Option 2: Day 7: Masai Mara-Nairobi
Depart Maasai Mara after an early breakfast for a journey back to Nairobi where your safari will end. Note: We can also add one more day to include Lake Nakuru National park which I think it’s very important. That means we drive to Nakuru for an afternoon game drive after cultural tour in Mount Kenya region.
