Itinerary
Day 1 – 3: Nairobi
On arrival to Nairobi you will be transfered to your hotel in the city center. During the next couple of days you will have time for the excursions tour to the Karen Blixen Museum, Giraffe Center, David Sheldrick Orphanage and a guided city tour to the important monuments. The last evening you will enjoy a barbecue dinner at Carnivore Restaurant.

Day 3 – 4: Nairobi – Masai Mara
Dinner and overnight at Camp/Lodge.
Day 5: Masai Mara
Amboseli National park is one of the most popular wildlife sanctuaries in Kenya. It is situated close to Kenya Tanzania border. The Park lies at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa (5,896 meters) whose snow-capped summit presents a splendid view on clear days. Amboseli National Park is often referred to as “The home of Elephants” some of the largest Elephant herds are found here. The Game Park also contains vast groups of Zebras, Wildebeests, Giraffes, Buffalos, Hippos and Antelopes. Also to be found in Amboseli are Lions, Leopards, Cheetahs, Rhinos and many species of plain game.

Day 6 – 7: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru

Day 6: Mount Kenya – Lake Nakuru
After breakfast drive further south via the Thomson’s fall to Lake Nakuru National Park for lunch. Spend the rest of the day game viewing in this park with more than 400 species of birds teaming with wildlife and rare animals who find sanctuary here. The park is a home to stunning flocks of Lesser and greater Flamingos which literally turn the lakeshores in to a magnificent pink stretch. All meals and overnight at Camp/Lodge

Day 7 – 9: Lake Nakuru – Mount Kenya
After breakfast depart to Mount Kenya via Thompson Falls, which are named after Joseph Thompson, one of the European explorers who walked from Mombasa to Lake Victoria in the 1880’s. After lunch visit the Mau Mau Caves where our freedom fighters used to hide from the colonial forces during the struggle for independence. On 2nd day we will go on a guided full day walk to enjoy the beautiful nature. A picnic lunch is included. All meals and overnight at Camp/Lodge.

Day 9 – 11: Mount Kenya – Kenya Heritage
After breakfast we depart to the village of Mathioya. The next 3 days are dedicated to stay at the “The Mount Kenya Heritage Center” where you can explore the daily life in a traditional Kenyan village. There will plenty of time to experience traditional African Culture and explore the beautiful surronding nature. For more details read the information on Cultural safari.

Day 12: Kenya Heritage – Nairobi
After breakfast or lunch depart to Nairobi for drop off at the airport for your flight either to Mombasa or back home.
